Price: SOLD
One of the rarest and most exquisite figures to come out of the Allach factory, is 'Der Sieger'. Beautifully proportioned, this figure by Nagy is completed in biscuit rather than gloss porcelain. Allach artists were renouned for stretching the boundaries of the porcelain art, and the boundaries were once again stretched with this piece, in particular with the right foot, which protrudes over the base. Further additional work was glazing just the underneath of the base, another time consuming process.
The base bears the artists name, F.Nagy, the entwined Runes and the line number '109'.
