Cased Heer dagger by Eickhorn Solingen
Price: On request
This particular piece has resided in the ULRIC of ENGLAND collection since the middle 1980s. The piece is absolutely stunning, and hence the inclination has always been to hold back from disposing of it. The dagger is an early Eickhorn example with heavy silver plated fittings throughout. The faultless grip is in the much sought after deepest orange / red. The dagger still retains its Eickhorn guarantee seal attached to the scabbard. The case is in black leatherette (typical grained leather finish similar to German Cross cases) and the interior is in rich blue coloured velvet, fully fitted out to accept the dagger and scabbard. The dagger is in mint condition the outside of the case has just the lightest storage age. This piece was photographed within two publications during the 1990s.

Extremely rare SS 1933 pattern Eickhorn dagger with full Himmler dedication
Price: On request
A very nice example of the full Himmler dedication SS 1933 pattern dagger. The dagger has survived in excellent condition and has full nickel-silver mounts throughout as expected. The ebony grip is free from any splits although a couple of small dents are visible. The lower crossguard bears the Eickhorn benchmark number '2' and the blade retains most of its original polish and crossgrain. The finely etched dedication remains 100% clear and still retains most blacking, as does the SS motto. Scabbard is complete and has much of its original black anodised finish. A very hard dagger to find. Provenance: The dagger was purchased from an American flea market during the 1960s by the well known US collector, Don Woods. The dagger was purchased direct from Don Wood.

SS 1933 pattern dagger by Herder Solingen and complete with original vertical hanger
Price: SOLD
Nice untouched examples of the 1933 pattern SS dagger are in extremely short supply at the moment. This example manufactured by Richard Herder, Solingen, is exactly that...a beautiful untouched dagger complete with its original 1934 dated leather vertical hanger and 'D' loop for belt attachment. The black ebony grip is free from any cracks or splits and remains perfectly fitted to the nickel-silver upper and lower cross guards (this is actually one of the nicest fitting daggers you will find). The lower crossguard bears a stamped 'I' and the blade retains most polish and crossgrain (free from any unslighlty pitting or ugly blemishes). The motto is clear but typically has lost the original blacking from inside the lettering, and the maker logo is also clear and sharp. The scabbard is anodised and retains approximately 80/90% black anodised finish overall. At the top area (protected by the vertical hanger) the scabbard still retains 100% laquer as well, which extends down just under the leather loop. The bottom mount has a dented bottom ball, so typical of 1933 pattern daggers carried on a vertical hanger assembly. The black leather vertical hanger remains in good supple condition and is complete with a nickel-silver DRGM stamped spring clip.

A superb example of an SS chained dagger with all nickel-silver fittings
Price: SOLD
Beautiful example of the SS 1936 chained dagger complete with full nickel-silver fittings throughout. The black ebony grip has survived in perfect condition and has a fine nickel-silver eagle/swastika and enamel runes eye. Particular mention should be made of the fitment of the grip to the top mounts, which as the images show, is faultless. The blade is typically without maker and has the full SS motto. The blade has survived in perfect condition with 100% polish and crossgrain. Scabbard bears its original painted finish and the nickel-silver mounts fit to it beautifully. The chains have excellent detail and bear the impressed runes within octagon to the reverse of one link. The dagger has never been over cleaned and there is still a pleasant patination existing to the nickel-silver. It would be hard to improve on this dagger.

An excellent 33 pattern SS dagger by Robert Klaas and bearing the SS man's membership number
Price: SOLD
A very nice example of the 33 pattern SS dagger manufactured by Robert Klaas. Nickel-silver fittings throughout and with a black ebony grip fitting absolutely perfectly with the upper and lower crossguards. The blade has survived in excellent condition with most polish and crossgrain. Only the dagger being taken in and out of the scabbard leaving the typical runner marks, stops the blade from being listed as mint, or close to. The fit to the scabbard is like a glove, and the blade glides into the sheath effortlessly. The undented scabbard itself retains 95/98% black anodised finish and the nicely fitting top and bottom mounts are in good order, with all screws present (one very little knock on the end ball is evident). The dagger still retains its original SS black leather hanging strap, the nickel-silver clip bearing the RZM logo and maker stamps. The SS man's membership number is engraved to the underside of the lower crossguard, and remains unresearched.

An extremely rare example of a mint condition Eickhorn 1937 manufactured SS 1933 pattern dagger
Price: SOLD
A rare chance to purchase a mint condition example of the rare Eickhorn 'double-logo' dagger manufactured in 1937. This dagger has survived in stunning condition, with virtually 100% nickel-silver plated mounts. In fact at first glance the viewer would believe they are solid nickel. The black ebony grip is perfect and has a fine standing Runes enamel eye and beautiful mint aluminium eagle/swastika. The blade in is mint pristine condition with just light runner marks showing that it has been withdrawn from the scabbard a few times in its life, as such the blade has full crossgrain finish and full blackening to the motto and makers logos. The blade has the 'double-logo' with the RZM logo and code, also the Eickhorn logo and name. The scabbard bears the typical black painted finish with 99% original black finish remaining. The mounts are perfect and the screws have never been tampered with. Undoubtedly the best of its type available on the market today. This dagger was acquired from Thomas Johnson in the late 1980s and has remained in the same collection since that time until being placed for sale recently.

Price: SOLD
It is rare indeed, in this day and age, to find a dagger completely untouched since 1945; that is exactly what this SS chained dagger represents. Brought back to England as a war trophy in 1945, and is completely untampered with in anyway. The dagger has a fine black ebony grip in perfect condition and retains its originally wrapped silver portopee. The unmarked blade has survived in close to mint condition, free from any adverse blemishes or pitting, and retaining most polish and crossgrain. The dagger has type 2 nickel-silver chains with typical light stamped Runes to reverse. The black anodised scabbard has survived extremely well, with 90% original finish remaining. The bottom ball remains perfect. All the nickle-silver plated fittings have age patina showing and no attempt has been made to polish the dagger in anyway.
