
An extremely rare and historically important NSDAP Kreis level flag for the city of Osnabrück

This rare and beautiful quality example of an NSDAP Kreis level flag, bears typical brown velvet Kreis boxes with black silk edging and white chain-stitched naming, 'Osnabrück Stadt'. The flag has the post-1935 mobile swastikas in multi-part construction, along with the typical mid-1930s 'old silver' edge fringing. The flag retains the remnants of the cloth tapes that would have originally attached the flag to the pole. Overall excellent condition. This flag was brought back to England in 1945 by a member of the British Tank Corps, and has recently been sold by his family.

A particularly rare and desirable early NSKOV finial manufactured by the firm of Otto Gahr

This early manufactured finial by the prestigious Munich-based firm of Otto Gahr, is in the heavy nickel-silver finish. The top shows typical light use overall, but still retains 98% of the black and red enamel finish. The stem retains the double drilled out holes for screwing to the shaft of the pole, and is beautifully impressed with 'GES.GESCH OTTO GAHR'. Well known for being the manufacturers of the 'Deutschland Erwache' Standards, and of all the SS Totenkopfrings,
few will ever own a named Gahr manufactured artifact. The company produced the first NSKOV and NSDAP finials before they were later mass-manufactured in aluminium. An extremely rare and important early 'Party' associated artifact.

Early and extremely rare NSDAP flag for an NSDAP administration office for Ortsguppe Hemelingen

A fine quality example of the early static swastika NSDAP flag. The flag still retains the 'old silver' fringing and the nickel-silver rings. The large black wool patch bears fine white chain stitched wording, 'N.S.D.A.P Ortsgr.Hemelingen Amt für Beamte' and has the typical thick size 'old silver' cord piping to the border. This flag probably dates to around 1930, and has survived in very good to excellent condition.

A rare early SA Sturmfahne for the 3rd Company of the 57th Niederrhein Standarte

A rare and interesting example of the SA Sturmfahne for the 3rd Company, 57th Standarte Niederrhein (location Wesel). The flag is a very early example with static swastika and no fringing, giving a consecration date at the beginning of the 1930s. The flag bears its original black box with white chain stitch 3/57 and then five additional unit numbers chain-stitched in fine golden wire. The flag is complete with its original pole rings and shows light use and some slight mothing in places.

SA Sturmfahne for the 8th Company of the 112 Südwest Standarte

A good and interesting example of the SA Sturmfahne for the 8th Company, 112 Standarte Südwest (location Main / Neckar). The flag is an early example with fine silver wire bordering. The mobile applied swastika gives a date of consecration of around 1934. The flag bears its original yellow box with black chain stitch 8/112 and then two additional unit boxes in red with grey chain stitch 22/112 and 4/261. The flag is complete with its original pole ties and shows light use and some slight mothing in places.

The flag is complete with its fine 'old silver' finging and retains the remnants of the cloth tapes that would have originally attached the flag to the pole. Typically with this higher than usual quality flag, the swastika is finished in a lovely black silk, and the white silk roundel is trimmed in 'old silver' piping. Overall excellent to near mint condition.
