An absolutely mint pristine example of a Jager Officers peak visor cap by Erel. The cap has a fine field grey wool doeskin top with dark green wool capband and green piping. The cap retains beautiful matching early quality silvered brass eagle/swastika and oakleaves/cockade (ventilated) badges along with the silver capcords. Interior is of Erel quality and has a deep golden yellow silk lining with full celluliod diamond bearing the silver blocked Erel logo, along with the additional red/blue on silver patents label. A beautiful 'Triple-Erel' Heer Gebirgsjager Officers peak visor cap

A beautiful example of a Gebirgsjager Officers peak visor cap by Erel. The cap has a fine field grey wool doeskin top with dark green wool capband and green piping. The cap retains a lovely silver aluminium eagle/swastika and a private purchase hand-embroidered wire oakleaves/cockade along with the silver capcords. Interior is of Erel quality and has a deep golden yellow silk lining with full celluliod diamond bearing the silver blocked Erel logo, along with the additional red/blue on white card patents label. The leather sweatband has the ventilated front and the silver blocked Erel naming to the side. Overall excellent condition with a stunning shape and virtually no interior use. The cap has very slight mothing to the roof and this has been taken into account with the pricing. A rare opportunity to acquire a desirable 'Triple-Erel' visor cap at realistic money.

Beautiful light field grey doeskin wool top with dark green capband and rose pink piping. Cap retains finest quality early silver eagle/swastika and oakleaves with ventilated cockade. Interior has the classic golden silk lining with full celluliod diamond and silver blocked erel logo and 'Standard' quality mark. The ventilated leather sweatband also bears the full Erel silver blocked logo. The cap has survived in superb condition with a wonderful shape. It is without doubt, the best example of an Erel Panzer officers cap which we have ever had the chance to sell. A must for the most discerning collector.

A good named example of an Erel manufactured Infantry Officers peak visor cap

An excellent example of an Infantry Officers peak visor cap by Erel. The cap has a fine field grey doeskin top with dark green wool capband and white piping. The cap retains beautiful polished quality eagle/swastika and oakleaves/cockade (ventilated) badges, along with the silver capcords. Interior is of the Erel 'Extra' quality and has a deep golden yellow silk lining with full celluliod diamond bearing the silver blocked Erel logo. The original owner's name and rank (Hauptmann) paper slip is still retained within the celluliod diamond. The leather sweatband has the ventilated front and the silver blocked Erel naming to the side. The cap has survived in near mint condition, with a beautiful high front exterior shape. The interior shows just light use. Surprisingly, it is now very hard to find good clean examples of infantry piped caps, especially examples manufactured by Erel.



An extremely rare example of an Infantry 'crusher' style visor cap

Almost unobtainable within the market place, this 'crusher' style cap survives in near mint condition. Good early quality,and with a lovely jaunty shape, the cap has a fine field grey ribbed gabardine top with dark green wool doeskin capband and white piping. The cap retains the BeVo woven silver wire eagle/swastika and oakleaves with cockade along with the black leather visor. Interior has a mid-brown lining along with brown leather sweatband. The cap shows just light use to the interior, and is free from moth or damage, typically there is slight age crazing to the leather visor.

The ventilated leather sweatband also bears the full Erel silver blocked logo. The cap has survived in superb condition with a wonderful shape ( some slight moth to the nap in places - but no holes). Interior has ink unit stamps and initials punched into leather sweatband.

An extremely rare example of an Erel manufactured Propaganda Company peak visor cap

Undoubtedly the rarest of all Heer cap pipings for a collector to acquire is that of the mouse grey piping for Propaganda companies. This example is manufactured by the exclusive Berlin company, Erel and is double Erel marked. The cap has a fine field grey wool doeskin top with dark green wool capband and mouse grey piping. The cap retains fine quality silver aluminium eagle/swastika and oakleaves/cockade badges along with the silver capcords. Interior is of Erel 'Privat' quality and has a deep golden yellow silk lining with full celluliod diamond bearing the silver blocked Erel logo. The leather sweatband has the ventilated front and the silver blocked Erel naming to the side. The cap has survived in excellent condition and is free from moth or damage.

An extremely rare example of a 5th Cavalry Regiment Officers peak visor cap

An excellent example of a 5th Cavalry Regiment Officers peak visor cap. The cap has a fine field grey wool top with dark green wool capband and deep yellow piping. The cap retains beautiful matching early quality silvered brass eagle/swastika, skull and oakleaves/cockade badges along with a beautiful set of silver capcords. Interior has a deep golden yellow silk lining with full celluliod diamond bearing a blocked logo. The cap survives with a jaunty shape and the badges and cords have a wonderful rich matching patina. Excellent condition and free from moth or damage.




A scarce example of Pioneer piped service peak visor cap manufactured by the firm of Erel
Price: £975 - $1850

An excellent example of the Pioneer service peak visor cap in field grey with dark green capband and black piping. Cap retains the aluminium metal insignia along with silver capcords. Interior has the exclusive 'Erel' Private class silk lining and retains the full celluloid diamond bearing the Erel logo and name. Interior also has the light brown leather Erel sweatband with ventilated front. Of particular interest with this cap, is the customised Erel extra ventilation, provided at the sides. Four riveted holes, two each side of the capcords allow for extra ventilation. Presumably this addition was at the request of the purchaser and would have undoubtably have been an extra cost to the finished cap. The cap has survived without moth or damage, but the cap shows light combat use overall, particularly the interior, to which, the sweatband is heavily greased from use.

A scarce early example of Heer Signal NCO's dress peak visor cap manufactured by Erel and distributed by Edward Sachs

A beautiful early example of Heer peak visor cap, this being the type with the earlier lighter green capband. The cap still retains its early style silvered eagle/swastika and oakleaves with cockade along with the NCO rank black patent leather chinstrap. Interior is in light beige silk with the full celluliod diamond bearing the Erel 'Standard' silver blocked name and logo along with distributors name. The exterior of the cap has survived in excellent condition with a beautiful fine pile to the doeskin top. The interior shows just light use only. Hard to find a nice original example of the early Heer cap.

A nice example of Heer Artillery NCO's private purchase Erel manufactured peak visor cap

This example is manufactured by Erel on their less commonly found 'Ideal' range. The cap is a beautiful and very fine silk doeskin like field grey material with dark green capband and red piping. This early manufactured cap retains a fine nickel-silver eagle/swastika and oakleaves/cockade, along with a typical black patent leather chinstrap. The interior is in yellow silk with full celluliod diamond bearing the silver blocked Erel logo and 'Ideal' name. The cap shows just light use to the interior and has survived in excellent condition with a lovely shape remaining. A really nice example.

Rare double decal 'Double-Erel' marked Luftwaffe fibre helmet

Price: SOLD

A rare example of the Luftwaffe fibre helmet manufactured by the firm of Erel. Fibre shell with usual metal edge trimming, and painted in Luftwaffe field blue. The helmet retains both decals which are 98 / 99% complete, and the interior has the full beige leather lining with silver blocked 'Double - Erel' stampings. The entire helmet has survived in superb condition and is a large size.

An extremely rare example of a Panzer 'crusher' style visor cap

Almost unobtainable within the market place, this 'crusher' style cap has the bonus of being piped for Panzer units. Good early quality, the cap has a fine field grey doeskin top with dark green wool doeskin capband and pink piping. The cap retains the BeVo woven silver wire eagle/swastika and oakleaves with cockade along with the black leather visor. Interior has a beige lining and tan leather sweatband. The cap shows some light use overall, along with typical age crazing to the leather peak, however, it survives with a good shape and is free from moth.

An extremely rare example of a Heer Chaplains peak visor cap manufactured by Erel

This beautiful example has a superb high top and retains the early type silvered badges, including the Chaplains Cross and the Erel ventilated cockade. Even the capcord buttons are in silvered pebble finish instead of the usual aluminium. The Erel 'Extra' interior is in golden silk with the full celluliod diamond bearing the silver blocked logo etc. The ventilated light tan sweatband also bears the full silver blocked Erel logo. The cap has survived in mint condition to the exterior, free from any moth or damage. The interior shows just the lightest use to the sweatband.

A scarce example of Heer Feldgendarmerie peak visor cap manufactured by Erel

A classic combat looking cap with 'pinched top'. This cap has a lovely light field grey doeskin top with the orange piping still bright and free from fading. The cap retains the aluminium type badges along with ventilated Erel cockade. The 'double-Erel' interior shows the cap to be from their 'Standard' range and has a gold tan silk lining with full celluliod diamond bearing silver blocked logo. The mid brown ventilated sweatband has the Erel trademark to the side. Cap is in excellent condition externally and is free from moth or damage. Interior shows some use overall, with grease staining to the sweatband. Nicely used cap.

An extremely rare 'Erel' manufactured Panzer beret

Having spent the last thirty years within the same collection, this beautiful 'Erel' manufactured Panzer beret has been acquired by us. The beret has survived in near mint condition with the BeVo woven eagle/swastika and oakleaves/cockade machine sewn to the front. The interior has the typical black oil cloth lining with full 'Erel - Robert Lubstein' woven label machine sewn to the centre. A beautiful example of this rare item of headwear, which would satisy the most discerning collector.

 



A Heer Infantry OR/NCO peak visor cap

Ribbed gabardine field-grey top with dark green capband and white piping. The cap retains the silver aluminium badges along with capcords. Interior has a typical orange-brown cotton lining with a full celluliod diamond. The cap shows some light use to the exterior and interior and retains a good NCO style shape. A couple of moth nips to the roof, but front is free from any moth or damage.



Rare 'Double Erel' Administration Polizei Officers peak visor cap

An excellent used example of the Administration Polizei Officers 'Double Erel' cap. Manufactured to Erel's 'Standard' quality, the cap has a beautiful field-grey doeskin wool top with dark brown capband and grey piping. The cap retains its cockade along with a high quality aluminium wreathed eagle/swastika. Interior is in the typical golden silk, and has the full silver blocked makers name and logo behind the celluliod diamond. Retaining an excellent jaunty shape, this cap has been used on duty for many a year and has a well sweated Erel sweatband, along with a well thumbed visor. A very nice looking cap, for the collector that likes to see a bit of use.

Superb 'Double Erel' Privat quality Polizei Officers peak visor cap named to Leutnant Rosenschou

A magnificent example of Polizei Officers 'Double Erel' cap in the top 'Privat' quality. Cap has the most beautiful doeskin wool top with dark brown capband and green piping. The cap retains its original extra quality 'ventilated' cockade along with aluminium wreathed eagle/swastika again with vented back. Interior is in the classic peppermint silk lining used for 'Privat' class caps, and has the full gold blocked makers name and logo behind the complete celluliod diamond. The Officer's hand written name tag remains within the diamond. Cap retains its fine ventilated leather Erel marked sweatband. The cap has survived in close to mint condition throughout, free from any moth or damage. There would be an extremely good chance of tracing this particular Officer, due to his unusual surname.

An excellent example of a Polizei OR/NCO peak visor cap with a Polizei field grey doeskin top, brown wool capband and light green piping. The cap retains a fine cockade and a stunning wreathed eagle/swastika of very high quality with polished swastika and highlights.The interior is in the orange waterflecked material with full celluliod diamond bearing the gold blocked Alkero name and logo. The cap shows just light use to the interior, the exterior is in mint condition.

Polizei Officers shako

Excellent example of the Polizei Officers shako. Surviving in close to mint condition, the shako has the best quality field grey doeskin finish and high gloss black fitments. The wreathed eagle & swastika stands proud and is finished in aluminium. The cockade is completed using silver bullion wires and has a black velvet backing. The interior is in black finished fibre and retains the full beige leather sweatband. The entire shako shows no use other than typical storage age. Ex-Len Champion collection

A scarce waffen-SS OR/NCO infantry peak visor

Good quality field grey ribbed gabardine top with black cloth capband and white piping. The cap retains mid to late war zink quality eagle/swastika and skull badges, along with a typical ersatz black leather chinstrap.  The interior to the cap is in a light beige silk with a full celluliod diamond, and shows light use.  The cap exterior remains in very good condition, but does have a few moth nips in places, primarily to the piping. Nice looking cap with that classic 'pinched' NCO shape.

A superb early quality double Erel Waffen-SS Cavalry Officers peak visor

Price: On request

Fine field grey doeskin top with black velvet capband and yellow piping. The cap retains the early nickel-silver plated eagle/swastika and skull badges (as often encountered on coloured piped caps) along with silver capcords. Interior shows the cap to be an Erel 'Privat' quality cap, with a peppermint green silk lining and a full celluliod diamond bearing a gold blocked Erel logo. The interior to the cap shows general use and the celluliod diamond has split in a couple of places, the exterior remains in very good condition, is free from moth or damage (although one pin repaired to eagle) and has a pleasing shape. This particular visor cap originated from the Andrew Mollo collection back in the 1970s. 

Waffen-SS M1943 Officers 'Einheitsmütze' ski cap

Field grey wool ski cap with silver top edge piping and complete with the BeVo woven eagle/swastika & skull triangle insignia to the front. The interior of the cap retains a dark grey/green cotton lining, and has a leather sweatband. The cap survives in overall very good condition, but exhibts general wear to both the exterior and interior.

 



Waffen-SS Gebirgsjäger M1943 'Einheitsmütze' ski cap

Field grey wool ski cap complete with the BeVo woven eagle/swastika & skull triangle insignia to the front, along with the machine-embroidered edelweiss to the side. The interior of the cap retains a typical grey herringbone cotton lining. The cap survives in overall very good condition, but exhibts general wear to both the exterior and interior.

A superb and rare example of an administration officials Polizei peak visor cap. The cap bears the light grey piping along with typical Polizei insignia of nice quality. An untouched Heer M40 steel hemet without decals

Now rare to find due to many having had decals added post-war. This is the chance for the collector to add an excellent example of an M40 steelhelmet which has never had decals. Helmet retains 95% dark green finish and has a tan lining and its correct chinstrap.
