Extremely rare matching set of Luftwaffe plaque and matching citation. The blackened metal plaque is in mint pristine condition and bears the Luftwaffe eagle/swastika in light relief, at the base is the designers initialed logo. The reverse bears the top wall hanging bar and the manufacturers logo. The citation is dated October 1941 and shows the award has been given to Flieger Obering Braun. Excellent ink signature of Generalfeldmarshall Kesselring to the bottom along with the
eagle/swastika ink hand stamp. Citation has slight aging and small tear at right hand side.
