A beautiful example of the Third Reich non-portable award for The Care of Horses in Gold. Superb golden relief oakleaves with central horse and man motifs, mounted to a golden plaque with relief wording, 'deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung (FN) Für Hervorragende Leistungen in Pferdehaltung und-Plege'. Entire plaqueete pinned to its original wooden mount, with metal ring to the top for hanging from a wall.

SA non-portable award for Donation of Horses

A beautiful example of the SA Plaque for Donation of Horses award. Instituted by hitler in 1937, black painted iron plaque has an oakleaves wreath with horse and eagle/swastika in relief. The reverse has a relief dedication by Hitler along with the SA Rune to the base. The plaque was given to those that donated horses, and horse related materials for the advancement of horsemanship within the SA. Near mint condition.

Cased NSFK 1938 plaque in bronze complete with the original citation to NSFK mann Lietsch from Trier

A beautiful example of the bronze 1938 NSFK Deutschlandflug plaque mounted in its original black leatherette fitted case. Contained within its own section behind the roof lining, is the corresponding citation for NSFK Mann Lietsch from Trier. The reverse of the plaque bears the issue number 5407, which is likewise stamped to the citation. Mint pristine condition throughout.

A superb large size head & shoulders of the classic German soldier circ: 1939

At the beginning of the Second World War, various versions of the 'classic German soldier' were created and sold to patriotic homes. Although they were all similar in terms of having bear shoulders and wearing the steel helmet to the head, many variations on this theme existed. This example is one of the largest that were generally available, standing just over 12" high with base. Detail to the head and shoulders is typically fine and on this version a two tier green marble base has been fitted. The head
and shoulders exhibits a wonderful patina to the silver finish. Close to mint condition.

A non-portable award for members of SS Artillery Battalion '867' in recognition of their struggle in Russia during 1941. The award features a relief eagle with gun motif on an oval section. The back bears a hook assembly at the top for mounting to a wall. Finished in a dull gold finish over a base metal.
