The collar patches are magnificent, with beautiful frosted silver oakleaves with polished detail, along with a single silvered pip on red wool doeskin and with the typically heavy silver bullion wire piping (aluminium came in slightly later and eventually took over from the silver bullion). The tunic also has a fine wool composite brassard and an SA Long Service chevron.
